Mission Mangal: Akshay Kumar recites Telugu poem as Nagarjuna shares promo, Taapsee Pannu ecstatic

The Telugu version of 'Yeh Sindoor' promo in 'Mission Mangal' was shared by Nagarjuna. Akshay Kumar, who hoped he hadn't made any error. Taapsee Pannu was delighted with Nagarjuna's support.

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’, before showcasing its journey to the Mars, is taking a turn across the country. In a smart marketing move, the makers have shot a special promo in multiple languages and the well-known names related to it have been releasing the respective versions. After Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali and Tamil, the Telugu version of the ‘Yeh Sindoor’ poem in Akshay’s voice was shared by Nagarjuna. ‘Khiladi Kumar’, while honouring the achievements of women, apologised to the Tollywood veteran in case of any error. Taapsee Pannu, too, expressed her delight over Nagarjuna’s shoutout.

Akshay recites in Telugu the ‘Yeh Sindoor’ poem, which highlights the accomplishments of women in general and the female characters in the film, as they took care of their homes as well as professional commitments. 

Sharing the promo, Nagarjuna wrote, “Words wouldn’t suffice to describe women’s sheer ability to accomplish the impossible. Team #MissionMangal dedicates this to our women. Watch it in Telugu.”

Akshay echoed his thoughts, while apologising in case he erred while speaking Telugu, and added, “When a woman sets her eyes on something, impossible is nothing! To the glorious women behind #MissionMangal, apologies in advance in case of any errors.”

Taapsee, who earned popularity in Telugu film industry before venturing into Bollywood,  too was delighted, “So happy to get a shout out from you sir thank you so much #MissionMangal on 15th August.”

Earlier, Riteish Deshmukh, Sourav Ganguly, Gippy Grewal and Paresh Rawal had shared the respective Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi and Gujarati versions.   

Apart from Akshay and Taapsee, ‘Mission Mangal’ also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari and HG Dattatreya. 

‘Mission Mangal’, directed by Jagan Shakti, hits the theatres on August 15.
