Satte Pe Satta (1982)
Surprisingly, cult drama comedy movie Satte Pe Satta is an adaptation of 1850’s English film Seven Brides for Seven Brors. Satte Pe Satta has Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Amjad Khan, Sachin Pilgaonkar amidst ors in pivotal roles. story of film is about Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan) and his six brors who lived on a farm. Ravi gets married to Indu (Hema Malini), a nurse by profession. or six brors also wish to get married to ir chosen life partners, whom y kidnap to stay with m under same roof. film goes through a lot of twists when Ravi’s duplicate Babu, a criminal takes his place instead.

Murder: A Love Story (2004)
Anurag Basu directorial takes lot of credit for Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi becoming overnight stars. film is an adaptation of Hollywood film Unfaithful. story revolves around issue of infidelity, extramarital affair and murder. movie is a commercial success at box office. In fact, many songs from movie like Bheege Honth Tere and Kaho Naa Kaho are iconic till date.
Partner (2007)
Superstar Govinda embarked on his second innings in Hindi film industry with Partner. It is a remake of English film Hitch, which stars Will Smith and Kevin James. film is directed by rewned director David Dhawan. Bollywood film features Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles as well. Partner is a blockbuster film and Salman-Govinda’s bromance in film continues to be highly appreciated by both critics and audience.

Players (2012)
film is a multi-starrer with Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu and Neil Nitin Mukesh in pivotal roles. Players is a sheer copy of hit Hollywood movie Italian Job. It is a thriller based on motive of revenge from a former ally by a group of thieves. Unlike Hollywood film, Players has miserably failed to impress Indian audience.

Bang Bang (2013)
This Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer is touted amongst most stylish Hindi movies of all time. But few would kw that it is a remake of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz film Knight and Day. Yes, from story plot to scenes, almost everything in Siddharth Anand directed film was copied from Knight and Day. Similar to its Hollywood version, Bang Bang did great at box office. Hrithik-Katrina’s sizzling chemistry and some amazing dance songs are highlights of film.
