Actress Mrunal Thakur who was earlier roped in opposite actor Ayushmann Khaurrana for their next film Doctor G seems to have opted out from the project.

Actress Mrunal Thakur who was earlier roped in opposite actor Ayushmann Khaurrana for next film Doctor G seems to have opted out from project. According to Bollywood Hungama, actress is juggling with dates which she has committed for ar project and hence she has backed off from upcoming project.

A source close to film told entertainment portal that makers were really excited to cast two actors toger as it was a fresh pair and y wanted to showcase ir chemistry on big screen. source furr said that Mrunal h given her dates last year for this film before lockdown happened. Her character in film is a strong one and makers wanted her role to d more value to film. But w, when crew decided on dates, owing to Ayushmann's schedule, Mrunal h to opt out since she has alrey committed same dates to her or films like Pippa. After having a conversation with makers, two mutually decided to part ways and end ir partnership, hence resulting in actress opting out.

Earlier, makers are scouting for ar actress to star in film. Meanwhile, Ayushmann plans to first shoot Anubhav Sinha's film but that's a quickie. y intend to wrap that film in about a month's time and n begin shooting for next Doctor G. Apart from this, while given a choice, between Doctor G and Pippa, actress picked latter as re have been vanced talks of a three-film deal with RSVP for her. Doctor G is one film that has been in works since lockdown began. According to entertainment portal, film was initially titled Stree Rog Vibhaag. Earlier, re were rumors about casting Alaya F, but later Mrunal Thakur was in talks for project.
