MTV Roadies Xtreme: Format updates, latest season details and more

MTV Roadies was started in the year 2002 and the initial episodes were hosted by the twins Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman after which Rannvijay Singha took over. The show is one of a kind where the contestants go through extreme tasks, adventures,  and vote outs until one of them wins. To be a part of the show contestants have to fill forms, attend group discussions and if selected from these two, there is a PI round where the judges select them for the show. Many people who were a part of the show have gone on to become well-known stars in the industry. The list includes Rannvijay Singha, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bani J, Prince Narula and Priyank Sharma, among others.

What are the format changes after the 10th season

Till the 10th season of MTV Roadies, the show focused upon contestants fighting against each other on an individual level. Later, as the show progressed, the format of the game changed. The show is no more about contestants fighting to be the winner, now it is more about groups, team spirit and developing what they have termed as a 'Roadies bond'. In the new format, the contestants are chosen into gangs of established judges/roadies/stars. The victory of these Gang Leaders is directly proportional to the performance of the teams. The show had many gang leaders until now like Nikhil Chinapa, Raftaar, Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia, Sandeep Singh and Prince Narula.

The season 16 of MTV Roadies Real Heroes premiered on television on February 10, 2019. The season contained many awesome moments. In the 16th season, Rannvijay chose not to be a gang leader and he is seen hosting the show. Prince Narula, Raftaar, Neha Dhupia, Sandeep Singh and Nikhil Chinapa went through a frenzied battle in the entire season. Team Raftaar was victorious and Arun Sharma (a contestant of the show) made it happen.

Arun Sharma from gang Raftaar won the extreme sports reality show. Arun completed the task in 4 minutes 10 seconds while Bidhan took 4 minutes 55 seconds while Ankita took 4 minutes and 53 seconds. He won Renaults Duster as a prize gift. Fans are already waiting for the next season of MTV Roadies Xtreme.
