Stars ask if 'Cyclone Nisarga hitting us today' after rain, storm; post tree-fall videos

Stars from the film industry asked if Cyclone Nisarga was hitting Mumbai on Saturday after heavy rain and storm was witnessed early today morning

On basis of alerts issued by meteorological department on Cyclone Nisarga, Maharashtra and Gujarat governments h issued safety guidelines to be followed on Wednesday. Fortunately, major dam was witnessed. However, as Mumbai woke up to heavy rain and storm this morning,  stars of film industry asked if cyclone was hitting city on Saturday and if date predicted was wrong.

Varun Dhawan was one of those who took a stroll on streets, informing his fans about heavy rains and storm. actor urged all to be safe, while also giving fans a glimpse of trees and its branches fallen in area.

Celebrities like Shruti Seth and Swastika Mukherjee asked if meteorological department h gone wrong in predicting date for cyclone. Vindu Dara Singh also posted a video of heavy storm and rains from his window and asked if it was after-effects of cyclone. Nikita Dutta asked if cyclone was playing hide and seek.

Several netizens also shared videos, right from ‘trees hanging on like a toothpick’ in storm and even water-logged ros. 

While Mumbai did t face major dam during storm, or areas of Maharashtra like Raig, Alibaug and Ratnagiri witnessed dams due to Cyclone Nisarga. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray urged his officials to file a report on dam and anunced Rs 100 crore as an immediate relief pack for Raig.
