Directed by Prakash Raj, this film was a modern take on Mahabharata. Nana Patekar portrayed modern-day Krishna in this one. He perfectly pulled off role and mand to win hearts. He played character of Brij Gopal who had a natural talent of being able to manipulate people.

This was based on real-life experiences of encounter specialist cop, Daya Nayak. It was a serious hard-hitting drama and is also deemed as one of best performances of Nana Patekar. Playing character of Sadhu Agashe who deems killing criminals as his duty, Nana put in multiple shades of character features by coming off as a family man.

In this one, Nana played a gifted actor who falls in love with a rich girl portrayed by Madhuri Dixit. Throughout course, he is oblivious to fact that his love is a one-sided story and goes to great lengths to unite with his love. When he finally realises that y cant be toger, his whole world comes crashing down.

Natasamrat

Natasamrat is story of a man named Ganpatrao Belvalkar who has to face several hardships in his old  after retiring from his atre career. He also becomes a victim to dishour inflicted on him by his own children. It is a tragic story where Ganpatrao eventually succumbs to his ill-fate and destiny. Even though this was a Marathi film, it gained a lot of recognition even in Bollywood.
