Navya Nanda shares picture of 'Period Positive Home' built by her team; smashes troll jibe

Navya Nanda recently took to Instagram and shared a picture of first "Period Positive Home" built by her team. In her caption, she revealed that her team is about to build 6 more homes like se. This project is aimed to fight against age-old custom of banishment to huts during menstruation. One of netizens asked why she wasn’t present during inauguration and Navya gave a sassy response to her.

Navya shared pictures of Period Homeme in collaboration with Mukul Mhav Foundation. members of village were seen doing inauguration by following necessary guidelines of pandemic. In her caption, she wrote, “Our first Period Positive Home was inaugurated today in Gchiroli. Seeing this project come to life has been so fulfilling. We are excited to build 6 more homes such as se, very soon so we can continue to fight against age-old custom of banishment to huts during menstruation. Thank you for ensuring women everywhere can have a safe and happy period ‘Menstruation is only blood not born from violence, yet it’s one that disgusts you most’ @projectnaveli @mukulmhavfoundation.”

Earlier, Navya Nanda shared a video of one of village women’s speaking about hygiene problems faced by m. woman stated that y don't have enough water and equate resources to take care of ir health.
