Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played a maniac in two movies, Raman Raghav 2.0 and Blapur. In Blapur, he plays a robber who kills a woman while being chased by cops. Later in movie, he is caught by cops and, in jail, he acts like a maniac while hilariously threating inmates. In Raman Raghav 2.0, he plays a modern take on 1960s serial killer Ramanna. His role was critically appreciated and his taker on serial killer was breathtaking and gripped viewers to happenings on screen.

Biographical roles

Nawazuddin has played real-life characters in two movies, Manto and Thackeray. In Manto, he plays reel life role of Saat Hasan Manto who is a journalist in 1940s India. In movie Thackeray, he plays role of former Shiv Sena supremo, Balasaheb Thackeray. In this two-part flick, we have seen Nawazuddin play role with same dynamics as late leer and fans are erly waiting for second part of film to release.
