Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played many roles, but his most iconic roles are as a big baddy in the Hindi film industry. His role of Faizal Khan from Gangs of Wasseypur made him the big in the industry. He has played a villain in movies like Kick, Jagga Jasoos, Munna Michael, and in the Netflix series Sacred Games. As a bad guy, his roles have got him appreciation from critics and fans too.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the role of a reporter in the 2015 movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He plays the role of Chand Nawab, a Pakistani reporter who helps Salman Khan’s character with his task. Nawazuddin’s role as Chand Nawab gave comic relief to the movie and was loved by his fans.
Maniac
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played a maniac in two movies, Raman Raghav 2.0 and Badlapur. In Badlapur, he plays a robber who kills a woman while being chased by cops. Later in the movie, he is caught by the cops and, in jail, he acts like a maniac while hilariously threating the inmates. In Raman Raghav 2.0, he plays a modern take on the 1960s serial killer Ramanna. His role was critically appreciated and his taker on the serial killer was breathtaking and gripped the viewers to the happenings on screen.
Biographical roles
Nawazuddin has played real-life characters in two movies, Manto and Thackeray. In Manto, he plays the reel life role of Saadat Hasan Manto who is a journalist in 1940s India. In the movie Thackeray, he plays the role of former Shiv Sena supremo, Balasaheb Thackeray. In this two-part flick, we have seen Nawazuddin play the role with the same dynamics as the late leader and fans are eagerly waiting for the second part of the film to release.
