The upcoming multi-starrer horror-comedy Housefull 4’s release is right around the corner and the makers have left no stone unturned in promoting the film. The Bhoot Song from Housefull 4 is out now. As the title of the song suggests, the groovy song features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ramsey Baba who tries hard to ward off the demonic possession which holds Harry, Akshay Kumar's character in the film.
The Bhoot Song
Nawazuddin Siddiqui stars in an elaborate song sequence in a cave full of skulls and skeletons. Seemingly, characters of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, and Pooja Hegde visit the cave to get rid of the ‘Bhoot’ inside Akshay Kumar. Akshay is seen denying the fact that he is possessed by some evil spirit. Nawazuddin begins the song with his famous dialogue from his well-known web series, Sacred Games. He goes on to say lines from his 2015 film Manjhi- The Mountain Man. He says, “Tere andar ke bhoot ko jab main todunga nahi, tab tak chhodunga nahi. And I am joking. (I will not leave until I destroy the ghost in you).” The song goes on to be more hilarious with Ramsey Baba (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) literally slapping the ghost out of Harry (Akshay Kumar). Chunky Pandey in a pink suit and Jonny Lever in a sari also add to the funny song. Interestingly, all the characters in the Bhoot Song are seen chanting the name of Alia Bhatt.
Reportedly, the Bhoot Song has been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and sung by Mika Singh and Farhad Samji. It is said that Farhad has himself written and composed the Bhoot Song in collaboration with Sandeep Shirodkar. Also, the director of Housefull 4 is Farhad Samji. It is scheduled to release on October 25. Housefull 4, which is themed on reincarnation, is the fourth instalment of the comedy-drama Housefull franchise. The makers have also released another song named Shaitan Ka Saala in which Akshay Kumar is seen performing quirky dance moves with several female dancers in the background. Akshay has also kick-started the 'Bala' challenge, asking his fans and friends to attempt his hook step from the song.
