NCP opposes CBI 'abruptly' taking over Sushant's death case 'without consent of states'

NCP leader Majeed Memon called the 'abrupt transfer' of Sushant's death probe from the local police to the CBI as 'not desirable' & that it was inappropriate

NCP leader Majeed Memon called 'abrupt transfer' of Sushant Singh Rajput's death probe from local police to CBI as 't desirable' and that it was inappropriate to do so without consent of states, somehow appearing to gloss over everything that was occurred at Supreme Court's hearing in case on Wednesday. 

Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions issued letter dated August 5 where y have extended 'powers and jurisdiction of members of Delhi Special Police Establishment to whole State of Bihar' for investigating in response to FIR filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's far KK Singh on July 25.

Centre's move to accept Bihar government's recommendation for a CBI probe into late actor's death was conveyed by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta in Supreme Court on Wednesday as Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking transfer of case from Bihar police to Mumbai police was heard.

Taking to Twitter, NCP's Majeed Memon called transfer of probe from hands of local police to CBI as t desirable. Furr, MVA leader called it an 'abrupt transfer' which happened on Centre's instruction to Central ncy without permission of states while SC was still 'hearing and examining all aspects of Sushant’s case'.

What Memon does t ackwledge in his opinion is that Maharashtra administration's treatment meted out to visiting Bihar Police probe team was criticised by Supreme Court, while single-judge bench also ordered Mumbai Police to submit its probe findings (after 52 days of probe since Sushant's death) so as to find out wher force was involved in any destruction of evidence as feared by Sushant's family.

Centre issues tification

SC pulls up Mumbai police for unprofessional conduct

Supreme Court on Wednesday pulled up Mumbai authorities for quarantining IPS officer from Patna, Bihar and said that it did t send a good mess as all eyes were on case. Justice Roy asked officials to ensure everything was done in a professional manner.

Vikas Singh, Sushant's family's lawyer told Court that late actor's family suspected that Mumbai police were involved in destruction of evidence related to actor's death.  Sushant Singh Rajput's family's lawyer Vikas Singh opposed Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for a protective order in her favour. Furr, Vikas Singh said that re can't be any furr delay as evidence was already being tampered with. Furr, late actor's family's lawyer also informed Court that an IPS officer from Bihar who had gone to investigate case had been quarantined in Mumbai.
