Veteran actress Neena Gupta took to her Instagram handle to share a picture from 1980s where she was seen posing with actor Nikhil Bhagat. The two starred in 1985 film film Trikal. She captioned the beautiful black and white picture saying, 'Where are you Nikhil? and how do you look like now?'. Gupta's fans immediately commented and informed her that he was last seen playing Deepika Padukone's father in Imtiaz Ali's film Tamasha (2015). Ayushmann Khurrana dropped a heart emoji on the picture. One fan commented: "O wow....what a recall Neena ji.....n yes ww too would like to know about Nikhil....had a major major crush......thank you for the share." (sic). Shyam Benegal directed Trikal featured Nikhil Bhagat playing the young Ruiz Pereira. The film was set in Goa in 1961 and starred Leela Naidu, Naseeruddin Shah, Soni Razdan, Dalip Tahil, Anita Kanwar, K K Raina, Ila Arun and more actors. Benegal won the National Award for best direction for this film.

Neena Gupta's last featured in Badhaai Ho, that went on to win a National Award. She also won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress for the same. She will be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's 'Panga', Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi', Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' and Vikas Khanna's 'The Last Color' (for which she won the Best actress award at Indian International Film Festival of Boston).
