Neha Dhupia posts on 'unhealthy' air quality as odd-even kicks in

The pollution levels in Delhi are quite alarming, so much so that the National Capital has declared a public health emergency. The schools in Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad are shut till Tuesday too. And, while the residents of Delhi are carrying on with their day to day lives wearing masks, several celebrities have raised a concern and creating awareness over the hazardous air quality in the national capital. Neha Dhupia too took to Instagram and shared a snippet of the 'unhealthy' air quality. Take a look below-

Before Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, Arjun Rampal, and Priyanka Chopra had expressed their thoughts on it. Dia Mirza had lashed out at the BCCI for arranging the match at this time, Arjun Rampal had termed the Delhi air unbreathable. Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, went ahead to send a strong message while she shared a masked selfie on Instagram.

Odd-even kicks in: 

Meanwhile, the Odd-Even scheme kicked in on Monday, the Delhi Police swung into action with the first fine levied upon a Delhite travelling in a car bearing an odd-number-ending license plate. Visuals show the police officers printing a challan as the passenger looks on. The Odd-even scheme is in operation till November 15.

Under the scheme, apart from exempted categories, only those non-transport four-wheeled vehicles will ply on the roads which have registration numbers ending with an even digit. Violations of the odd-even rule will invite a fine of Rs 4,000. Under the scheme, which is now implemented and will be in place till 8 pm, non-transport four-wheeled vehicles with registration numbers ending with an odd digit (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) will not be allowed on the roads on November 4, 6, 8, 12 and 14. Similarly, vehicles with registration numbers ending with an even digit (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) will not be allowed on the roads on November 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15.
