South Indian sensation Nithya Menen is brimming with sheer talent, impactful screen presence and potential. Recipient of several prestigious national awards, Menen established herself as a leading actor over time. The illustrious actor marked her acting debut as a child artist at the tender age of eight with the 1998 English flick The Monkey Who Knew Too Much. Nithya started over by portraying a supporting character in Kannada movie 7 O’ Clock. She debuted her leading role in Malayalam with Akasha Gopuram, in Tamil with 180 and in Telugu with Ala Modalaindi. Moreover, the multilingual actor stepped into Bollywood with Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal in 2019.

Nithya Menen took up roles which established her as an iconic actor. The actor showcased her ambitious, funny and unconventional side to the Telugu audience in Ala Modalaindi. Nithya stole the show with her electric performance in this romantic drama film. Debutant BV Nandini Reddy’s directorial, Ala Modalaindi kick-started Nithya’s journey to dig her hidden talents. The actor skillfully juggled between many languages and worked in some of the biggest commercial hits including Telugu language movie Ishq, Malayalam film Urumi and Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty also in Malayalam. Nithya has presented the much-needed regional connectivity and immersed in diversified ethnicities as per the demands in her films.

Upcoming ventures

Among other successful flicks, legendry director Mani Ratnam helmed the 2015 romantic drama flick O Kadhal Kanmani starring Nithya Menon opposite Dulquer Salman. This movie turned out to be commercially successful and garnered the female lead for her portrayal of Tara. Nithya boundlessly flourished with this character. In 2019, the wondrous actor marked her debut in the Hindi film industry with Mission Mangal which starred an ensemble cast of Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar, and Taapsee Pannu amongst others. This flick gained huge acclamation from the critics and the audience alike. Nithya will be next seen in a Tamil language romantic thriller movie Psycho. Directed by Mysskin, she will star alongside Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shaji Chen and Ram in the lead roles.
