Deepika Padukone is one of most successful actors in India. She is married to popular Indian actor Ranveer Singh. She is even mentioned as one of 100 most influential people in world in year 2018 by Time magazine. Deepika is daughter of famous former Badminton player Prakash Padukone and Ujjala. She made her debut in Hindi film industry with 2007 romantic drama film Om Shanti Om, which was directed by Farah Khan. She was paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan. film was one of highest-grossing films and also earned Deepika Padukone a Filmfare award for Best Female Debut.

Throwback to Deepika Padukone’s childhood
Deepika Padukone did her schooling from Sophia High School, Bangalore and later on went to pursue a career in modelling. As a child, Deepika was very much involved in badminton. In an interview with a leading portal, Deepika opened up about her love for badminton and revealed that she used to wake up and directly head for her physical training and n she would go to play badminton after her classes. She, later on, gave up badminton to pursue a full-time career in industry as a model. She even appeared in music videos. actor described herself as very shy and introverted during her school days. Deepika later appeared in 2006 Kingfisher Calendar as well, which gained her popularity and recognition.
