It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the current music albums of Bollywood are dominated by recreations over original songs. You can’t blame the makers either since most of these tracks have gone on to become chartbusters, be it ‘Aankh Marey’ or ‘Dilbar.’ And so the trend continues with ‘Musafir’s ‘Saaki’, again bringing the John Abraham-Nora Fatehi combination, after ‘Satyameva Jayate’, together for ‘Batla House.’ While Koena Mitra had expressed her displeasure over the recreation, her co-star in the video, Sanjay Dutt doesn’t share the same opinion and called it ‘great.’

When asked about the recreation, Sanjay in a recent interview with a media publication stated that it is great that the song has been remade. The veteran actor added that the song being adapted itself showed its popularity even today.

Earlier, Koena had called it a ‘mess’, terming it a crash of ‘blockbusters’ when only the teaser had been unveiled, she had tweeted, “My song from Musafir #Saaki Saaki" has been recreated. Sunidhi, Suhwinder, Vishal, Shekhar combination was outstanding. Didn't like the new version, it's a mess! This song had crashed many blockbusters! Why batlahouse, why? P. S: Nora is a stunner. Hope she saves our pride.”

Meanwhile, Nora responded to the original ‘Saki’ girl Koena’s comments by saying that everyone had their own right to express and it was important to respect that. The ‘Bharat’ actress added that music is subjective, and it’s not possible for everyone to like all genres. She added that her focus is only on maintaining the benchmark she set with ‘Dilbar’ and then it is in the audiences’ hands.
