Myntra was forced to revamp its logo after a police complaint was filed against e-commere company for being ‘offensive towards women'. Soon, development became a talking point on social media, sparking memes, and celebrities too jumped in debate.

Meanwhile, Sapna Bhavani alleged that it was a publicity stunt by Myntra for ir new logo. celebrity haistylist wrote that vertising gurus were ‘really stepping up game.’

Highlighting recent example of jewellery brand Tanishq facing criticism from a section for an vertisement showcasing inter-faith marri, she wrote that people were w creatinng controversial content and n letting public do marketing. 

Myntra logo change 

A Mumbai-based activist, founder of Avesta Foundation, h alleged that logo was offensive to woman, as it resembled a naked woman. She h lodged complaint with Mumbai cyber cell in December. police called a meeting, after which Myntra has changed its logo.

 "A complainant (woman) h approached cybercrime police station in matter. We called a meeting with Myntra following complaint, y (Myntra) came and agreed to change logo. y have sent an email as well on same," DCP Rashmi Karandikar of Mumbai Police's Cyber Crime Department was quoted as saying by PTI.
