The story of the film is about the resilience shown by the Indian farmers when they were under the pressure of British Rule. Even today, Aamir Khan's film is frequently aired on television. The film chronicles a story on the lives of street rappers in Mumbai. Murad, essayed by Ranveer Singh, is the son of a driver, his parents worked hard to get him educated so that he could have a white-collar job. But he realizes that he is passionate to become a rapper.
