Manoj Tiwari’s P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar is a hard-hitting drama that takes a dig at rampant honour killings in India. After confronting castism in Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15, Kumud Mishra is all set to fight against honour killing in his upcoming sensational film. In an interview with a national daily, Mishra explained the relevance and need for such films for a better understanding. He chose the movie because of the director’s vision, script and subject.

Kumud Mishra's character in the film

Kumud Mishra also described his character in the movie. He plays a father who immensely loves his daughter but is stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea, as he has to follow the social norms and traditions. Set in Uttar Pradesh, P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar is based on a real-life incident where a Mathura based national level athlete faced repercussions of inter-caste marriage. It is a story of a young boy who falls in love with a girl but the society becomes the bane of their lives, followed by violent reactions. Check out the trailer:

Director Manoj Tiwari speaks

The rate of honour killing in India keeps rising each year by a massive number. This shocked the director, Manor Tiwari. P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar revolves around discrimination based on caste and class in northern India. Article 19 of the Constitution on India, which deals with freedom of thoughts and expressions, is suppressed by society. The film raises a question against hate crimes which are in clear defiance of Article 19, which has also taken a massive toll on innumerable talented youth of the country.

Written by Vishal Vijay Kumar, and produced under the banner of OK Films, the film is scheduled to release on October 18, 2019.
