Actor Sonu Sood, who has been helping stranded people return home over past four months, on Tuesday responded to a fervent plea from three persons of Bengal, after one of m tagged him on Twitter and said y were stuck in Pune.
46-year-old actor assured Anupam Chakraborty, a resident of Howrah, he will make arrangements to send all three of m to Bengal. "Pack your bags bror. Kolkata is calling," he said in reply to Chakraborty's SOS tweet.
36-year-old from Jhikira vill in Howrah, who said that he and two ors have been stuck in Pune since March, also attached a document with his tweet, giving details such as Aadhaar number, and or relevant details.

Sood, best kwn for playing antagonists in films, has become a hero off-screen for his successful efforts to send home thousands of stranded migrants amid lockdown. Ar student who reached out to Sood for help during day also received a prompt reply.
"All students who are left out and couldn't book, kindly make a list according to destination you wanna go. I will plan for m accordingly," Sood said on microblogging site.
On Monday, actor had said that he would provide financial assistance to over 400 families of deceased and injured migrant workers.

While talking about his book, Sonu Sood added in a statement, “ past three and half months have been a kind of a life-changing experience for me, living with migrants for sixteen to eighteen hours a day and sharing pain. When I go to see m off as y begin ir journey back home, my heart is filled with joy and relief. Seeing smiles on ir faces, tears of happiness in ir eyes has been most special experience of my life, and I pledged that I’ll keep on working to send m back to ir homes until last migrant reaches his vill, to his loved ones”.
