Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas: Karan Deol speaks on Criticism and Negativity

Karan Deol is the newest face in Bollywood. The 28-year-old made his entry into the industry with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which also marks the directorial debut his father, Sunny Deol. The conversation of nepotism always makes an appearance when a star kid is launched in Bollywood. Karan is no exception to this and has been facing criticism for his performance in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas ever since the trailer was launched on YouTube.

Criticism and Negativity 

Karan Deol has had his fair share of criticism before even entering the film fraternity. According to sources, the actor was often bullied in school. Karan Being softspoken was contradictory to his father's performance on the silver screen where Sunny Deol has always played passionate roles. Karan decided to follow his legendary lineage in the Hindi film industry at the age of 18. He then went on to attend numerous acting workshops and took up an acting course at Ealing Film School in London.

Karan Deol recalls his school days to be tough. He was often subjected to teasing and bullying because he belonged to a filmy family. Karan was shy and wouldn't retaliate as kids from his school would expect him to. This stand resulted in him becoming a soft target at school, says Karan. He went on to state that the bullying incidents became so repetitive that he had to change his school. Karan Deol's family has a significant influence on the Hindi film industry. Audiences are keen to see Karan follow his father's footsteps and become a well-known actor.

Speaking with a news media, Karan stated that he is aware of the fact that being from a film family will bring him opportunities even after being lackluster in his first movie, but that hasn't stopped him from giving his best for Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. He's convinced that criticism will follow him wherever he goes, and people will always be eager to pull him down nitpicking his performances. He believes that all of the criticism will settle down once his work starts speaking for himself. There are rumours that Karan Deol will be next seen in Inder Kumar's upcoming romantic-comedy film.
