Panipat is an upcoming historical drama film helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The movie is set to release on December 6, 2019. Panipat features Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. On Tuesday, the makers of the much- anticipated film unveiled the trailer of Panipat. The 3-minute visual hit 18 million views within a day of its release. Interestingly, Twitterati has gushed to share their comments about the trailer. In a few tweets shared by fans, we got a glimpse of a comparison made between Panipat, and two other historical films like Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani.

As soon as the trailer of Panipat was launched, netizens shared their reviews on Twitter. Fans shared that the story and characters of Panipat are similar to the plot and characters of films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. One of the Twitter users shared that Panipat movie seems like it pays homage to Ranveer Singh and that it looks like Arjun Kapoor plays the role of Peshwa from Bajirao Mastani and Sanjay Dutt as the character of Khilji from Padmaavat. Furthermore, the user added that Kriti Sanon was dressed in almost the same saree as Priyanka wore in Bajirao Mastani. Overall, Panipat trailer has received a mixed set of reviews from fans.
