His upcoming directorial, Panipat, is considered to be one of most anticipated films of year. Panipat movie will star Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. Also, Kriti San and Zoya Hussain will be a part of this film. Since Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi and Kesari, Panipat will be first war-drama to be released in Bollywood. Story of Panipat: One of eventful battles of 18th century
Panipat movie is based on third battle of Panipat which took place on January 14, 1761. It was one of most historic battles that happened between Marathas and King of Afghanistan, Ahm Shah Abdali. story of Panipat movie will have Sanjay Dutt playing character of Ahm Shah Abdali and Arjun Kapoor essaying role of Sashiv Rao Bhau. According to reports and historical data, battle of Panipat was about how rrn expeditionary forces of Maratha Empire tried to inve forces of King of Afghanistan. This conflict lasted for several days that involved a huge count of troops resulting in losses and gains on both sides. glorious battle witnessed victory of Durrani Afghan forces, who righteously defeated Marathas. commander-in-chief, Sashiv Rao Bhau's valour gave him label of a huge contributor in history of Panipat battle. Panipat movie would portray an expedition of victorious battle that took place in Indian fraternity.

Panipat cast wrap up shoot
cast of Panipat movie has recently wrapped shooting of ir film. Kriti San took to Instagram to share a photograph that h Arjun Kapoor and herself in it. Reportedly, shooting of film took place in interiors of a few forts in Maharashtra. film has completed its principal videography and w is in post-production process. Panipat movie will hit screens on December 6 this year.
