The makers of film Panipat have released the trailer, and it has received a positive response from viewers. The film is a historical epic drama, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Arjun Kapoor has been sharing the first looks of all the characters from the film, which is releasing on December 6.

Arjun Kapoor himself will be seen in the shoes of Sadashiv Rao Bhau. Kapoor shared the first look of his character on Instagram. He wrote, “Sadashiv Rao Bhau - Bravery Is To Stand For What You Believe In, Even If You Stand Alone." Arjun Kapoor is the protagonist who will be defending Maratha in the third battle of Panipat in the film.

Kriti Sanon is essaying the character of Parvati Bai. In the trailer, she is seen playing the love interest of Arjun Kapoor. According to reports, in the film, Kriti will be seen as the queen of Maratha. She is playing a historical character for the second time after the comic role of Princess Madhu in Housefull 4. Arjun shared her first look as well.
Sanjay Dutt is essaying the character of Ahmad Shah Abdali. The Ashutosh Gowarikar-directorial will witness a combat between protagonist Arjun Kapoor's character Sadashiv Rao and antagonist Sanjay Dutt's character Ahmad Shah Abdali. Dutt’s character is a villainous one in the film.

Arjun Kapoor introduced Mohnish Bahl of Kuch Toh Log Kahenge television series fame. He will be essaying the role of Nana Saheb Peshwa. In the period drama Panipat, Mohnish-Nana will be the leader of the Maratha kingdom and also the one who elects Sadashiv Rao, played by Arjun Kapoor, as the leader of the great the Kingdom for the third war.
