Paresh Rawal, Smriti Irani, other celebrities express grief on the death of veteran actor-writer Kader Khan
Tributes started pouring in for veteran actor-writer Kader Khan after his death in Canada on 31 December. Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Smriti Irani, actor-Member of Parliament Paresh Rawal were among those who expressed their grief about Khan’s death.

Naqvi was ‘deeply sdened’ while Rawal sent prayers for actor to ‘rest in peace.’

Smriti’s post summed up impact that Ker Khan h, particularly on ‘80-90s kids, who would surely be familiar with his numerous films in that period. former actress also wrote how she never met him but would have thanked him for laughter and his craft.
Maj Bajpayee also conveyed his sness. Actor Rohit Roy conveyed his sness at passing of actor by sharing how he h worked with him as a co-star and director. He called Khan a ‘lovely and humble man’ and that he h many anecdotes to share. He concluded his post by writing, “Cinema loses ar great actor.’

Ker Khan passed away due to prolonged illness at of 81 on December 31, his son Sarfaraz confirmed.

Khan was mitted to a hospital in Cana and his son confirmed that his last rites will be conducted in country.
