Parineeti Chopra shares candid picture with badminton star Saina Nehwal

Actor Parineeti Chopra is gearing up for the filming of her latest film. The film in question is the Saina Nehwal biopic. After 30 days of rigorous training and preparation, she will begin filming. Recently, the Jabariya Jodi actor flew to the city of Hyderabad to meet the ace Badminton player. She also shared a picture of the two of them together, and they seem really happy in the picture.

Parineeti has been training hard for the role. She has been posting images from her training session at the Thane Badminton Academy. Needless to say, she has been putting in a lot of effort into the role and her fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the biopic.

The film is directed by Amole Gupte

The biopic is tentatively titled Saina. It will be directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar. The dialogues of the film are written by Hussain Dalal. Initially, actor Shraddha Kapoor was signed on for the role and she also began preparations in all earnestness. But she opted out and Parineeti Chopra stepped in the shoes of Saina Nehwal in the biopic in March 2019. 

Besides the Saina Nehwal biopic, Parineeti Chopra recently wrapped up the filming for The Girl On the Train. The film is an official remake of the 2016 film of the same name that featured Hollywood actor Emily Blunt in the lead role. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. It will also release in the year 2020.
