Actress Parineeti Chopra expressed shock and disgust over the custodial death of P Jeyaraj and his son Fenix, who was picked up by the police.

Celebs from Bollywood fraternity have expressed shock and disgust over custodial death of P Jeyaraj and his son Fenix, who was picked up for questioning by cops in Sathankulam for violating lockdown rules. Parineeti Chopra shared a post on social media and fumed at police for ir 'inhuman act'. Parineeti demanded justice for  far-son duo on her Twitter and wrote that every cop involved in ir death will have to pay for what y have done.

Namaste England actress who was terrified to hear about brutality inflicted upon Jeyaraj & Fenix also mentioned that body can ever imagine amount of pain two must have gone by when y were tortured behind bars. At last, she concluded post and wrote that people seek help from police when y are in danger, and in this case, police mselves became a danger for two.

Apart from Parineeti, her sister Priyanka Chopra also mourned demise of Jeyaraj and Fenix on her Twitter handle and expressed her anger on same. actress wrote that she is completely stunned to hear such an act of police brutality. While voicing her support to family of deceased, Aitraaz actress wrote that guilty must t be allowed to go unpunished. She sent her prayers to family and mentioned that one can imagine amount of pain family would be going through.
After an alleged custodial death of a far-son duo in Tuticorin caused an uproar in media, Tamil Nu's ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIMK) has w anunced an ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakhs to ir family. far and his son were arrested for allegedly violating lockdown rms on June 19.
 
P Jayaraj (59) and his son Bennicks (31) were picked up for questioning by cops in Sathankulam police for violating lockdown rules. As per police, duo kept ir mobile shop open during lockdown. y were allegedly beaten to death by police and as per some reports, were also sexually assaulted in police custody.
