Pati Patni Aur Woh starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in lead role revealed their new poster as well as the much-awaited trailer. The trailer of the movie is filled with perfectly timed jokes and some bang on performances by the actors. Netizens claim that the movie from the looks of it is going to be a laughing riot. There are a few things that one can easily notice in the trailer that was released earlier today.
1. Bhumi Pednekar is not the stereotypical ‘Patni’ in the movie
The trailer shows what looks to be the first meeting between a couple before they get married. Rather than being a shy and docile girl getting into an arranged marriage, Pednekar’s character Vedika is shown to be extremely upfront. Her character is not only outgoing but it also contradicts the stereotypical image of a wife.
2. The trailer never mentioned Ananya Panday’s character to be Kartik Aaryan’s girlfriend
It has been reported earlier that Ananya Panday’s character Tapasya is that of Kartik Aaryan’s character, Chintu Tyagi’s girlfriend. However, the trailer does not mention the relationship the two share. It is quite obvious that Chintu Tyagi is smitten by her, however, he never mentions her to be his girlfriend.
3. Irrespective of his infatuation, Chintu Tyagi still loves his wife
The trailer portrays Chintu hiding from Tapasya and even buying a dress for her, and getting annoyed at his wife for taking up too much time shopping. However, during the end of the trailer, he has shown lodging a complaint to the police station that his wife has gone missing. He later confesses to the cops that he loves his wife. Contrary to what is shown in most Bollywood movies, where the guy loves the outsider and is forced to stay in a marriage, Chintu Tyagi's story is a little different.
4. Abuses are not beeped
Unlike most movies, the cuss words in the trailer aren't beeped or changed for a more PG-13 audience. However, in the trailer almost all the characters are seen using swear words without the beep. The actors are not even seen using substitute words for the curse words.
