On World Yoga Day, on Friday, June 21,  Akshay Kumar shared an inspiring post on social media featuring his mother Aruna Bhatia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi came forward to hail her enthusiasm and shared Akshay's Twitter post.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who is kwn for his rigorous fitness regime is epitome of sturdiness. Looks like inspiration of fitness enthusiast is very much influenced by his mor. 

On World Yoga Day, on Friday, June 21, actor shared an inspiring post on social media featuring his mor Aruna Bhatia. Sharing a picture of 75-year-old doing a yoga asana, meditating with her feet joined and eyes closed, proud son Akshay wrote, "Sharing something I'm extremely proud of...post her knee surgery at of 75, my mor started doing yoga and w it is part of daily routine, improving one day at a time. #NeverTooLate #BreaInBreaOut #InternationalDayOfYoga,"

While many on internet praised health consciousness of Akshay's mor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also came forward to hail her enthusiasm. Sharing Akshay's Twitter post, PM Modi wrote, "Happy to see this @akshaykumar! Yoga does transform people's health for better. #Yogay2019"

Meanwhile, marking 5th International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Yoga with around 40,000 enthusiasts at Prabhat Tara ground on Friday. Talking about importance of Yoga, he said that everybody should practice ancient Indian discipline lifelong. Jharkhand capital was selected as venue for main event for day. Or than that, several or programs were organized across country to mark day are were led by Union ministers, including Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.
