Prabhas to star opposite Pooja Hegde in 'Jaan'?

After the massive success of Baahubali 2:The Conclusion, the south Indian superstar Prabhas returned to the big screen with Shraddha Kapoor in the film Saaho. Now Prabhas has moved on to his next project which is tentatively titled as Jaan. The director of the film is KK Radha Krishna Kumar, and the film also features Pooja Hegde opposite Prabhas. The shooting of the film is going to start soon as per industry reports.

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s next film Jaan 

While not much about the film is revealed yet, the makers of the film have titled the movie as Jaan. According to reports, the film will see Baahubali actor as a palm reader. Earlier this year, Prabhas spoke about the film on social media and the project launched a year ago. In a message to his fans, Prabhas shared a social media post saying that he is quite excited for the movie.

Director Radha Krishna revealed the idea of the film and said that the film is going to be a historical love story and shooting will be done at a lavish scale. He went on to add that the shooting locales have been finalised as Europe. Reportedly, the film was supposed to begin shooting in November 2019. But due to Saaho's release & subsequent promotions, the project was postponed. The film will release in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously.

GopiKrishna Movies and UV creations will jointly produce the film Jaan. Moreover, fresh reports suggest that the actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen as a villain in the movie. Sources say that Prabhas is required to have a toned physique for the film and hence will be following a strict workout schedule. Furthermore, Amit Trivedi has been roped as the music director for the film.

Filmography of superstar Prabhas

Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, popularly known as Prabhas, is the nephew of the veteran Telugu actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju. Prabhas made his acting debut with the film Eeshwar in 2002. The film did not perform well at the box office, and it failed to impress the audience. But, soon he made a name for himself in the Telugu film industry with the film Varsham, which also starred Trisha Krishnan and Gopichand in the lead roles. Prabhas made his debut in Bollywood with a cameo role in the movie Action Jackson. Some of the biggest hits of Prabhas includes movies like Yogi, Rebel, Billa, Ek Niranjan, and Mr Perfect.
