Priyanka Chopra: Lost films due to somebody abusing their powers

Priyanka Chopra who started working in films at a young age is now busy promoting her film The Sky is Pink all around the world. The Barfi actress recently in an interview, spoke about her interaction with her father regarding losing projects and enduring failure in the industry. Priyanka Chopra Jonas talks about her father late Dr. Ashok Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is currently busy promoting her film The Sky is Pink. In an interview with a media portal, Priyanka spoke about the conversation she used to have with her now late father Dr. Ashok Chopra regarding losing her projects. Priyanka said that she has been replaced twice from two films. Once her co-actor informed her regarding the change and once she read about it in the newspaper. The Barfi actor added that she went to her father and cried about the whole situation and questioned why did it happen to her. Priyanka’s father responded by saying what was she planning to do about it. The response by her father gave the Baywatch actor the determination to excel at her work and did not let herself sulk if the film did not perform well.

Priyanka Chopra further discussed how she was replaced after somebody’s girlfriend was recommended for the same role even after Priyanka had signed the film. She was quoted by a media portal saying that she called it an abuse of power by taking away somebody’s hard-earned opportunity. Priyanka Chopra in the same interview spoke about how her family plays a key role in her life. She said that she was raised as a strong woman by her parents but that does not mean that she does not feel vulnerable. She admitted that she faces her fair share of bad situations and stressful days. But said that her husband Nick Jonas, her family and a close circle of friends act as her support system.
