Priyanka Chopra is a highly celebrated name in the global entertainment scene. She is also hugely popular in India as well as a very successful Bollywood actress. Recently, in an interview, she stated that she hoped that Hollywood would sit up and take notice of the immense talent that India's entertainment industry has to offer to the world. Priyanka also stated that she wanted to break the stereotypes that westerners hold of India and wanted to show the world that India is much more than yoga, spirituality, etc.

Priyanka made her American TV debut in Quantico
Her big American debut was as the lead actress of the ABC show, Quantico. The actress was acclaimed for her role as FBI agent Alex Parrish in the show. In Hollywood, she has made her mark as a singer with multiple albums, with her debut television role in the show Quantico, and various roles in films. She is a celebrated UN Goodwill Ambassador of Peace. The Aitraaz actress is considered to be an inspiration for her legions of fans.

Priyanka has also had an extremely successful stint in Bollywood. After she won the coveted Miss World title in the year 2000, the actress made her big-screen debut in the Tamil film industry in the year 2002. But her big break was in Bollywood with blockbusters such as Andaaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Don, Dostana, and Fashion, among others. She shifted her base to the United States and launched her first music single, In My City, in the year 2012.

The Sky Is Pink releases on October 11
Now, Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for the release of her first Bollywood film in three years. Directed by Margharita With A Straw's Shonali Bose, The Sky Is Pink features Farhan Akhtar and Dangal actress Zaira Wasim. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and Priyanka Chopra. The film is a love story of a couple that spans 25 years and is narrated from the perspective of their daughter, who is diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
