Actor Purab Kohli on Tuesday revealed he and his family "were down" with vel coronavirus and are w on ro to recovery. "Rock On! 2" star, who is currently in London with wife Lucy Payton and children Inaya and Osian, took to Instagram to share a health update. Purab said y h flu and given ir symptoms, according to ir general practitioner, y h contracted COVID-19, disease caused by virus.

In an interview with a leing daily, Purab shared his emotional struggle battling crisis. He said that y started feeling breathlessness and chest congestion from 8th-9th day and y all tried staying calm through meditation, yoga and tried concentrating on breathing.

biggest thing that Purab and his family followed was cut mselves from social media. 'Once panic sets in easily, it's t easy to handle,' Purab said while stressing that y kept ir phone away — big distraction. y only followed auntic source of information and took it slow and easy. family kept mselves hydrated, got ir vitamins and mineral intake right. 'Keep calm and accept and face it', is mantra Purab would suggest.

Kohli and his family in London were in quarantine for 17 days and are still currently under isolation. w that family is on a ro to recovery, all y are doing is follow proper social distancing rms as situation in Europe is a 'bit crazy'.

"Pretty similar to a regular flu with a stronger cough and a feeling of breathlessness," he described symptoms in a lengthy Instagram post. actor said it was Inaya who first showed COVID-19 symptoms, followed by Lucy and n himself. ir son Osian got it last and ran a 104 degree Celsius fever for three nights. "We were constantly in touch with GP on phone. Apparently everyone in London is getting it and its rampant here, and a few people we kw have gotten it. Just wanted to share it with you if it helps reduce panic a little to kw someone who has h it and is fine," Purab wrote.

"Out of Love" actor said y were out of "self-imposed quarantine" last Wednesday and were "t contagious any longer". Purab also suggested some measures he and his kin were taking to man impact of infection. He said even after taking a lot of rest for two weeks, y could feel ir bodies "still recovering". "Please stay safe. I hope ne of you get it but if you do, kw that your body is strong eugh to fight it. Seek proper vice from your doctors as intensity of each case is different as was in my household alone. And please stay home and rest body as much as possible," he ded.
