Race 3: Bobby Deol replaced this actor in Salman Khan's film

Despite the fact that the movie did not do very well at the box-office, Salman Khan's Race 3 managed to recover the majority of investment mostly through the external sources. The Remo D'Souza directed action-thriller brought Bobby Deol back in a most stylish avatar on the silver screen after a long time. But Bobby was not the first choice of the director for this movie. The role was offered to Student Of The Year star Sidharth Malhotra, but due to his date issues, he did not sign on the dotted line.

Bobby replaces Sidharth:

In an interview, when Sidharth was asked about the same he said that there was no creative differences and he had other on his plate at that time and that is why it was not possible for him to do the movie Race 3. He further added, there were time limitations and the team of Race 3 wanted to start the shoot immediately and it was not possible for him as he had other projects scheduled. And that is why he did not go ahead with this project. He even shared that Ramesh Taurani and Salman Khan are wonderful people to work with and maybe in the future, he will surely love working with them. But it was not possible this time.

Audiences would have loved watching the two actors, Salman and Sidharth together on-screen for the first time. But for now, the fans and followers have to wait a bit longer to see the duo together till they get another project to work on together for. Bobby's stylish avatar in Race 3 won many hearts and even his performance in the movie was appreciated by many audiences.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Sidharth is busy promoting his upcoming movie Marjaavaan that is set to hit the theatres this Friday. The movie will also feature Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Nikkhil Advani, Divya Khosla Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Emmay Entertainment and T-Series. The film will lock horns with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor at the box-office.
