Rahul Roy's 'LAC' producer Nivedita speaks on his medical expenses; clears 'confusion'

A few days back, Bollywood actor Rahul Roy suffered a brain stroke on set of his upcoming venture, which he was shooting in Kargil. Recently, producer of Rahul's upcoming project, Nivedita Basu, talked about incident and asserted that production is looking after all medical expenses of actor. While elaborating furr to Mid-day, Nivedita ded that director Nitin Kumar Gupta arranged for Rahul to be airlifted from Kargil to Srinagar and n back to Mumbai.

As conversation moved ahe, Basu also cleared "confusion", which speculated that production is t taking care of Rahul. Basu stated that whole idea of him being airlifted and getting him to a Mumbai hospital was production's. Basu ded that y have been covering all expenses as for m, health comes first. In her brief conversation, Nivedita also threw light on web film, LAC: Live Battle. Basu shared that Juon actor has been a close friend of director Nitin, and Roy was first one on project. She also mentioned short film, Walk, Nitin did with Rahul during lockdown, while mentioning that director knew Rahul would be a good choice. On or hand, director Nitin also gave health updates of Aashiqui actor to Mumbai Mirror. Nitin gave a brief about incident and stated that Rahul h finished his shooting in Kargil on vember 23, but he stayed back to enjoy wear. However, actor showed unusual behaviour on Thursday. Nitin, who says he is a doctor himself, furr ded that when he met Rahul in hotel, he ticed that actor was unable to make ‘cohesive sentences’ and h a problem with his speech. Nitin shared that he suspected it to be aphasia and immediately took him to a local hospital for a CT scan.
