Rajinikanth on Amitabh Bachchan's Phalke award: 'Richly deserve this'

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was recently bestowed with horary Dadasaheb Phalke award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Ever since news surfaced, several celebrities came forward to congratulate actor. Legendary actor and politician Rajinikanth also came forward to wish his 'Andha Kaon' co-star. In a recent Twitter post, he said Amitabh Bachchan 'richly deserves this commendable hour'.

Amitabh Bachchan on receiving Dadasaheb Phalke award
With National Awards, three of Government’s highest civilian hours, latest being Padma Vibhushan, Amitabh Bachchan’s hours list was already a massive one. After he was anunced as recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2019, he took to social media and expressed gratitude to everyone who hailed him for same. "How does one even begin to put to words immense gratitude I wish to convey to all that have sent ir greetings to me .. just so humbled and overjoyed to see your joy .. thank you." he wrote in a post.
