Rajkummar Rao is a renowned Bollywood celebrity who made his debut with the 2010 movie LSD: Love Sex Aur Dhokha. He lost his father earlier this year, and his mother passed away in 2017 while he was shooting for Newton. Rajkummar Rao, on a popular chat show, recently opened up about how he coped up after his parents’ demise.

'Immersed myself in work to cope up with my parents’ death'

Rajkummar Rao said that the only way he could cope with the demise of his parents was by immersing himself with work. He said the fact that he was an actor in Bollywood gave immense happiness to his parents. Rajkummar Rao also added that they would have told him that work was necessary. He said that work was the only way through which he could keep himself out of it. Rajkummar Rao was glad that he could show the trailer of Made In China to his father when he was in the hospital.

Talking about his father, Rajkummar Rao, said that his father taught him honesty. He said that his father was the most honest government official he had ever seen. Rajkummar Rao said that his father, Satyapal Yadav, was at such a post where he could have made all the money he wanted. However, his father stuck to honesty and stayed away from underhand tactics.

In the same interview, he also talked about other things. When Rajkummar Rao was asked about who would the actor like to have a same-sex relationship with, the Stree actor chose Hrithik Roshan. Rajkummar Rao also debunked the myth of instances where actors can not perform that well in the auditions; he said that it is nothing but matters of ego in cases of auditions. Rajkummar Rao also said that if he woke up as Deepika Padukone, he would like to work on a love story with Rajkummar Rao. When he was quizzed about what he would do if he ended up in Kangana Ranaut’s bedroom, he said he would find the script for Queen 2 which he expects to be hidden away in there.
