How Rajkummar Rao prepared for Me In China role
In an interview with a daily, Rao said that acting is t an 'ego game' and that it is t about actor himself. Rao believes that it is always about both character and film. He ded that he does t think about his own looks. Rao said that he could have done anything else in life but he chose to take up acting. Rajkummar Rao feels that his responsibilities are towards his character and t towards what ors think.

Director Mikhil Musale, in an interview, revealed how Rajkummar Rao prepared for his role in movie. He said that Rao t only gained 8 kgs of weight for movie, but he also learned Gujarati langu for this role. Rao went around streets of Ahmedab and spoke to local store owners, young people who were shopping, and also ate food from local places to sink his teeth into colloquialism and culture of Gujarat. director ded how Rao took a video camera and visited busy areas of Ahmedab, from Lal Darwaja to Gandhi market and various or places. To get away from eyes of paparazzi actor went completely under rar, going virtually unrecognisable.
