Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy who are currently busy promoting their film 'Made in China', recreated Govinda's iconic song 'O Lal Dupatte Wali' from the film Aankhen (1992). While Rao was dressed in a red pant-suit, Mouni looked beautiful in a black saree. And as the lyrics go, "O Laal Dupatte Waali, Tera Naam To Bata, O Kaale Kurate Waali Tera Naam To Bata...", the two groove in their own best way. Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Bala' director Amar Kaushik wrote: "Kya baat hai" (with clapping hands emoji). Watch the two recreate the 90s number:
During the trailer launch of the film, Rajkummar Rao said that he doesn't believe in shortcuts as they don't work well in the long run and especially in a creative field. "There was no jugad in my career if there was, then I would have been finished early on (in career). In any artistic life, one can go a little ahead with 'jugad' but ultimately it is your hard work and talent that matters," he added. "I am whatever I am today is because of the audience. I came from a small town in Gurgaon. I dreamt of being an actor and I got so much love from everyone. I have reached this far only because of my work. I have a lot of gratitude," he added.
MADE IN CHINA
The movie portrays Rajkummar to be a ‘Jugaadu’ entrepreneur trying to make it big in India. The first trailer portrays that Rao ropes in a sexologist, Boman Irani onto his business scheme. The scheme goes on to become a huge success. The movie stars Paresh Rawal, Sumeet Vyas, Denzil Smith and Manoj Joshi, Boman Irani, Mouni Roy and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles. Mikhil Musale has both directed and co-written the movie with Karan Vyas and Parinda Joshi. Produced by Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios, Made in China will release on October 25, 2019. The movie clashes with Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand ki Aankh, which will also release on the same date.
