With his indelible onscreen performances and leaving the audience tongue-tied, Rajkummar Rao has managed to be one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood. From his first film, Love Sex Aur Dhokha to his recent, Judgementall Hai Kya, Rajkummar Rao has come a long way. However, it looks like the actor had to face a lot of struggles in his early life to become a star that he is today.

Rajkummar Rao’s early life

Born in Gurgaon, Rajkummar Rao reportedly completed his schooling from Blue Bells Model School and graduated in arts from Delhi University. Reports suggest that during his college days, Rao actively participated in many events and stage shows and also pursued theatre from Sri Ram Centre for Performing Arts and Kshitij Repertory. Later, the actor then shifted to Pune and went on to pursue acting at the Film and Television Institute of India in 2008. Rajkummar debuted in Bollywood with Love Sex Aur Dhokha in 2008 and there has been no looking back for him ever since then.

Rajkummar Rao on the work front

Rajkummar Rao, currently, has many interesting releases lined up for the coming year. Rao is gearing up for his next release, Made In China along with Mouni Roy. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra in the Netflix Original, The White Tiger. Helmed by the Iranian filmmaker Ramin Bahrani, Priyanka Chopra is also an executive producer of the show. Rajkummar will also be seen along with Janhvi Kapoor in the much-anticipated comedy horror flick, Rooh-Afza. The actor will be seen once again with Shraddha Kapoor in the much-anticipated sequel Stree 2.
