Ram Kapoor joins cast of Mira Nair's next movie A Suitable Boy

Ram Kapoor recently took on his Instagram handle to anunce his next upcoming project. While  movie starring Ram Kapoor, Bahut Hua Sammaan is set to release in December 2019. Ram Kapoor has joined cast of ar upcoming film, A suitable Boy. movie is being directed and filmed by Mira Nair. It has been written by Andrew Davies. movie will be shot at several locations and is currently being shot in city of Luckw.

A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth

A Suitable Boy is an adaptation of Vikram Seth’s international bestseller with same title. It is a story of a young girl who embarks at a journey of her own to discover herself. vel was set in 1951, a time when India was taking shape as a newly independent nation and dealing with crisis of its own. In vel, story very beautifully beads love, romance, ambitions, prejudice and self-discovery.

cast of this movie has big names, including Tabu, Ishaan Khattar, Rasika Dugal, Namit Das who have been joined by Ram Kapoor, Shahana Goswami and Vivek Gomber are new members to join cast of movie. Ram Kapoor began his acting career with a television series Nyaay in 1997 and has been lead cast for series like Ghar Ek Mandir, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and many more. Ram Kapoor has previously worked in movies like Student of Year, Baar Baar Dekho, Mere Dad Ki Maruti and many more.

What Ram had to say about this Project

In an interview with a leading media portal, Ram Kapoor while talking about this project said that he is excited to work with director Mira Nair. He also said that he has worked with her in past also on movies called Monsoon Wedding and Words with Gods, both movies were masterpieces. Ram is playing character of protagonist's far and wants to do justice to character.
