Ranbir Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated film Animal, is busy with promotions. The actor may be away from social media, but he managed to connect with her fans via Zoom call and answered their questions. During the interaction, a fan asked him about a possible Tamasha reunion. The 2015 film was helmed by Imtiaz Ali and starred Deepika Padukone alongside Ranbir Kapoor.

When asked about the Tamasha reunion, to this, the actor lauded the idea and said that he used to share a close relationship with the director, but owing to their busy lifestyle, Ranbir has been out of touch with Imtiaz. However, they try to contact each other on key occasions.
He said, “I think it’s a good idea; I should bring it up. Unfortunately, what happened was that Imtiaz and I were so close because we were working so much with each other. Then what happens is that we go on different projects, and then those people become your circle of friends, and you start working a lot with them. So, I’ve really been out of touch with Imtiaz.”

The Rockstar actor opened up on Tamasha's performance and box office and said that when it released, the film didn't do well commercially. However, over the years, it has found its audience and a lot of people understand it now. He also revealed that the greatest compliment he gets is when fans express how Tamasha influenced their lives and inspired them to pursue their aspirations and dreams.
"The impact of Tamasha is much greater than we all had imagined," the actor concluded.
