Ranbir Kapoor is an Indian film actor and producer whose work in the Bollywood industry has been noticeable. He started his career as an assistant director and later got the opportunity to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya with Sonam Kapoor. The movie did not do well at the box-office in terms of collections, but the actor managed to get the Best Male Debut award by Filmfare for the same. In 2009 he created his fanbase with three leading roles in movies like Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the YearHis latest movie Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt is going to hit the theatres soon. Ranbir Kapoor's Bollywood projects

Tamasha (2015):  Tamasha is about a man's journey who has lost his edge in attempting to follow socially acceptable societal norms and regulations. The film is based on the main theme of self-loss that occurs when trying to discover yourself. The film collected a total of ₹136.63 crore which is an average collection in terms of box-office collection. Critics also spoke about the movie -

Barfi (2012):  Love can neither be defined nor contained by society's definition of normal and abnormal. Barfi is a film in which Ranbir Kapoor plays the character of a hearing and speech impaired boy who falls in love with a 'normal girl'. In spite of their deep affection, things do not go in their favour. The film collected a total of ₹175 crores which is a hit in terms of box-office collection.

Wake Up Sid (2009): Sid, who is a spoiled young adult living in Mumbai on his father’s expense, experiences a change in his lazy ways when he meets a woman at a party, who inspires him to grow up and "wake up". The film collected a total of ₹ 70 crores and hence was deemed a flop, but was appreciated by fans and critics alike.

Rockstar (2011):  Here Ranbir is seen playing the role of a struggling musician that goes through a lot to become this 'Rockstar'. He struggles with problems related to love, family, career, society, etc. The film collected a total of ₹108 crores which is an average number in terms of box-office collection.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013): Ranbir plays Kabir, a guy who wants to make it big in the travel industry. He goes on a trek with his friends where meets Naina, Deepika Padukone. She falls for him but refrains from expressing it. Years later they meet at a friend's wedding where their love story picks up. The film collected a total of ₹ 305.42 crores which is a super hit in terms of box-office collection.

Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009): A commercial graduate, Harpreet Singh Bedi, becomes a salesperson. He plans to run a parallel business without his boss's knowledge after being ridiculed by his peers and boss. The film collected a total of ₹33 crores which is a flop in terms of box-office numbers but was appreciated by the critics.

Anjaana Anjaani (2010): Two heart-broken and suicidal individuals, Akash and Kiara, find each other just when they are about to end their life. They then decide to live up to New Year's Day to the fullest. The film collected a total of ₹ 68.5 crores which is a flop as per box-office collections. 

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009): Prem crushes on Jenny, a girl already in love with a guy, Rahul. Despite this, he agrees to help and support her to get married to Rahul and as a result, they get into different comical circumstances. The film collected a total of ₹130 crores which is an average collection in terms of box-office collection. However, it made a mark with its unique songs.

Sawaariya (2007): Raj who is a free-spirited artist, falls in love with Sakina. However, she is not interested in Raj. When he tries to confess his feelings, Sakina tells him she is already in love with Imaan, who has promised to be back for her. The film collected a total of ₹60 crores which was a flop according to the Box Office. 

Besharam (2013): Ranbir plays the role of a street-smart mechanic, Babli, who steals cars to support his family. He falls in love with Tara and decides to mend his ways but his life takes an interesting turn. The film collected a total of ₹95 crores which is a flop in terms of box-office collections. 

 Roy (2015): A London based film-maker, Ayesha meets Kabir who is a casanova film-maker who falls in love with him. They choose to take different paths when Ayesha finds out about his past. Roy is a thief in Kabir's imaginary movie Guns 3 and the story revolves around that. The film collected a total of ₹58 crore which is a total flop in terms of box-office numbers.
