The 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards was hosted in Mumbai, India for the first time. For those unaware, the IIFA Awards started in London in 2000 and over 20 years it has traveled through 12 countries. Bringing in the glamour, entertainment and total fire on the stage for the evening was Sara Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Singh. These 6 actors rocked the IIFA stage and thoroughly entertained the LIVE audience dancing and singing on hit Bollywood numbers.
The show opened with Ranveer Singh's super energetic performance where he was seen rapping on hit Gully Boy numbers and then grooving on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's popular tracks like Malhaari etc. Katrina followed Ranveer and gave an electrifying performance as she danced on Bharat and Thugs of Hindostan tracks. Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal's debut at IIFA was nothing less than powerful. The two grooved on their hit numbers and entertained the audience. Madhuri Dixit gave a beautiful and heartwarming tribute to choreographer Saroj Khan and Salman Khan's sweet closing act of singing and dancing brought an end to a glittery night.
