According to sources, Singh maintained a strict diet and kept his nose to the grindstone in multiple gym sessions. Check out the Gunday actor’s fitness mantra.

1. Choose your role model

The heartthrob of Bollywood can make every woman sweep her off her feet with his chiselled hot body. In an interview with a leading daily, the Padmaavat actor once revealed that his inspiration has always been Hrithik Roshan. Having the War actor as his role model worked the best for him. Because of Hrithik, he kick-started his blood, sweat and tears filled journey towards becoming the tough man that he is today.

2. Ghar Ka Khana

The Gully Boy actor prefers ghar ka khana over junk food as the latter one does not go well with him. Ranveer Singh likes simple home-cooked food which is cooked without fuss mess. In an interview with a leading magazine, the actor’s trainer Mustafa Ahmed revealed that he pushes him to take one cheat day in a week. Furthermore, he asked Ranveer to kick away any kind of sugar from his meals.

3. Outdoor activities

Ranveer Singh not only does hard-core gymming but also indulges in outdoor sports and activities. The Simmba actor firmly believes in participating in cycling, swimming, and jogging, as they are equally crucial to break the monotony of routine. Singh advises his fans to have a fun workout, rather than just immersing in the gym workout. This helps you inhale fresh air and feel more active.

4. Cut off the sugar cravings

As mentioned previously, the actor’s trainer asked him to cut off sugar from his diet. But he could enjoy sugary indulgence and greasy junk food once a week. You could pamper yourself with comfort food once in a few days. Make a habit of resorting to fresh fruits, if you feel like having sweets.

5. Avoid Alcoholic drinks

While shooting for Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela, Ranveer Singh revealed that he does not drink. He added that this has helped him a lot. Alcohol tends to weaken your immune system and all your previous hard workout loses its value. Stop alcohol if you want to gain body strength.
