Ranveer Excitedly Says 'Baap Bann Gaya Re' In 1st Appearance Since Welcoming Daughter With Deepika
Ranveer Singh made his first public appearance at IIFA 2024 in Abu Dhabi after welcoming his first child, a baby girl, with Deepika Padukone on September 8.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their buddle of joy, their first child, a daughter on September 8. The couple announced the news via social media and since then has been away from the media glare. However, on the last day of IIFA 2024, taking place in Abu Dhabi, the new father made his appearance. It was his first public appearance after welcoming his daughter earlier this month.
The actor was quite happy and even engaged in a cute banter with the paparazzi stationed at the venue. The video of the same is going viral on the internet, with fans sending the new parents love.

Ranveer on September 29 walked the green carpet where he interacted with the paps and thanked them for their best wishes. To shake hands he came towards them and excitedly told them, "Baap bann gaya re (I have become a dad)". The actor looked dashing in a suit and sported a heavy beard with tinted sunglasses.
The couple welcomed their daughter on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 in Mumbai Hospital. A few days later, new parents twinning in white T-shirts were seen taking their newborn home, accompanied by their parents.
Ranveer Singh is preparing for Aditya Dhar's movie
A couple of days ago, Ranveer took to his Instagram stories and dropped photos of himself working out in a gym. He flaunted his impressive physique with his hair tied in a bun. The actor was seemingly preparing for his role in Aditya Dhar's untitled movie. A report in Pinkvilla read that the actor will be gearing up to resume shooting for the movie in November.
“We have had a very productive shoot in Bangkok, Thailand. Now, Ranveer is all set to get back to the shoot in November for the next schedule. We cannot give out details about the various locations at this point, but the excitement for the next chapter is extremely high after the high-quality product that we’ve seen on-screen with the first schedule," a source told Pinkvilla. The movie reportedly co-stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. It is expected to hit the theatres in the second half of 2025.
Meanwhile, Ranveer also has Farhan Akhtar's directorial Don 3, co-starring Kiara Advani.
