Ranveer Singh who is known for his sartorial fashion choices recently stunned everyone when he stepped out wearing a gigantic red hoodie. In the video & pictures that have surfaced on the internet, he can be seen smiling and stylishly posing for the shutterbugs. And while there were many netizens who criticised him for his look, there were others who lauded him for always experimenting and trying out new bold styles.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ranveer Singh is set to work in 83, a film based on India’s first Cricket World Cup win in 1983. Ranveer Singh has stepped into the shoes of legendary all-rounder and then-captain Kapil Dev, while Deepika will play the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev. The film, directed by Kabir Khan, is releasing on April 2020. 

On the personal front: 

The actor is married to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who tied the knot on November 14 and 15, 2018 at Italy’s magnificent Lake Como. The wedding receptions were held in Bengaluru and Mumbai. Deepika Padukone looked drop-dead gorgeous in all the ensembles she wore for different occasions across their wedding celebrations.

First project after marriage

The Simmba actor and the Padmaavat actor are collaborating for their first project after marriage in Kabir Khan’s ’83. Ranveer will essay former Indian Cricket Team captain Kapil Dev, and Deepika will play his wife, Romi Devi. ’83 is slated to release on April 10, 2020. Deepika Padukone is also gearing up for her next film Chhapaak. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak is based on the life of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal.
