Ranveer Singh posts hilarious ad as 'Chikna', Deepika Padukone reacts

Ranveer Singh has always flaunted his beard and his moustache with aplomb. And that’s the reason the actor removing his famed moutache after the shoot of ‘83 made headlines. While reports started the rounds that it could be for his next film, the Bajirao Mastani star isn’t even thinking about it, if his latest post is anything to go by. In fact, there’s something more important on his mind; he is gearing up for the ‘Shaadi season’. He has now made himself available to be the ‘Entertainer’ and is ‘for hire’ for  all functions. What was interesting was that Deepika Padukone chose to her husband’s manager of sorts, stating she was the one to be contacted for booking the events.

After his shaved look had made headlines, Ranveer Singh had proudly flaunted it on social media, sharing a picture where he is dressed in a sweatshirt and writing while winking, “Ae Chikne 😉🤳🏾” (handsome).  On Wednesday, he shared another snap, this time dressed in traditional wear, and posted an advertisement for himself, writing, “Shaadi Season is here! Entertainer for Hire. 🕺🏿 Available for events, wedding, budday party, mundan 🎊” Wife Deepika had an quirky reaction to it, writing, “contact @deepikapadukone for bookings!🤪🤪🤪 @ranveersingh.”

Not sure if Ranveer Singh is also hinting at his own wedding with the ‘Shaadi season’ mention. It was on November 14-15 that he and Deepika had tied the knot. Apart from being the ‘Entertainer for hire’, he’d definitely want to entertain his wife for a special anniversary celebration. 

The duo is known to post funny comments on each other’s pictures. Be it poking fun at each other’s pics, sharing memes of each other or indulging in PDA, the pair continues to give us couple goals. It was no different here.

Professional front 

Meanwhile, ‘DeepVeer’ are all set to work together for the first time after their marriage. They will feature in Kabir Singh’s ‘83. The shooting of the movie has been completed. Ranveer Singh plays the role of Kapil Dev, legendary all-rounder and captain of India’s World-Cup-winning campaign in 1983. Deepika plays the role of Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Dev in the movie. It will hit the theatres in April 2020.
