Ranveer Singh reacts to rumours of his father paying Rs 10 Lakh for his debut in Bollywood, read here

Not only is Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh known for his work, and delivering back to back hits with 'Padmaavat' and 'Simmba', he is also known for being his charming and energetic self, rather the 'life of the party'.

In a recent interview with India Today, Ranveer Singh opened up about the rumours of his father paying Rs 10 Lakh for his debut in Bollywood. He stated that the hearsay really hurt him, and brought his upbringing into question, as he has struggled and is really proud of what he has achieved.

He further added that various young actors text him and say that they are ready to pay the money, but all he wants to tell them is that all of it are just rumours and there is no truth to it.

Ranveer Singh, who has had a spectacular 2018 has an even more promising 2019 in store. He will be starting off the year with his upcoming film 'Gully Boy' which has already generated massive hype. Other than that, he has also begun prep for the ambitious sports film '83' where he will be essaying the role of former Indian cricket team captain and legend Kapil Dev.

He is also prepping for the release of 'Gully Boy' that is directed and co-produced by Zoya Akhtar features the actor as an aspiring rapper. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and is scheduled to release on February 14, this year.
