Ranveer Singh to an emotional Deepika: 'Your wax statue, the sexiest'

Aamchi Mumbai saw a glittering, starry night filled with awards, fun, and performances as the 20th Edition of Indian Film Awards was held in the city last night. The who's who of Bollywood gathered under one roof to celebrate their achievements. While Alia Bhatt's 'Raazi' won big, Ranveer Singh, who is known for his charismatic attitude took home the Best Actor award for 'Padmaavat', that starred Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari in pivotal roles.

Ranveer Singh calls wife Deepika's wax statue, 'the sexiest'
Before giving the thank you speech, Ranveer also received a Special Wax Award at the ceremony. The actor will now have a wax statue besides Deepika’s at the Madame Tussauds wax museum, London. As the actress already has her own wax statue in London, he said that his mother-in-law wanted him to follow in her footsteps too. "My mother-in-law was like you've to work hard too, we want a statue of you also. Mama, we're going to London. I'll see you."

He then went on to praise Deepika Padukone's wax statue and said, "My wife's statue is the sexiest of all. Deepika is a perfectionist, she was very particular about all the time she dedicated to her statue. Her statue is the best one. Baby, you and Morgan Freeman have the best statue. I've to figure out my pose and dress."
