Ranveer Singh-Sonakshi Sinha-starrer was one of most critically acclaimed films for leads and its impact could be understood from comments that poured for movie even after seven years. makers came up with special posts to commemorate occasion.

One featured some of best stills from movie, for both Ranveer’s character Varun and Sonakshi’s character Pakhi, be it former’s two looks, incence, and ruggedness conveyed through it, or latter's look in a saree, love between duo ad conflict. re was ar special post, a video of an animated version of film’s poster and stills, and how it was displayed in an old-fashioned way through reels.

Lootera released on July 5, 2013, and was produced by w-defunct Phantom Films. movie was based o O. Henry's Last Leaf and story traced love between protagonists in Manikpur, West Bengal before y part ways and meet again in a contrasting situation a year later. Ranveer and Sonakshi were minated in numerous awards, with latter particularly taking home multiple trophies. Even music by Amit Trivedi was appreciated and Monali Thakur winning awards for track Sawaar Loon.
